Heating Emitter

This section deals with the setup for the heating. The emitter has parameters for 'radiant proportion' and 'view co-efficient' which are described in the section: Radiant Property Parameters.

There are two parameters which instruct the program to impose external air temperature compensation on the heating plant control.

Warning - Compensation does NOT apply under the following conditions,

Outside Temperature -Max

The outside air temperature at and below which maximum heating is available.

Outside Temperature - Off

The outside air temperature at which the heating is switched off. When the outside air temperature moves between these two limits the plant capacity will be proportionally varied.

There is also a check box marked 'Capacity Compensation'. If this box is checked a gains table for heating factor will appear. 'Heating Factor' is the capacity of available heating as a proportion of the 'Zone Maximum Load'. For more information about how to edit these parameters, please read the section: Gains Table.
