Cooling Emitter

This section deals with the setup for the cooling emitter. The emitter has parameters for 'radiant proportion' and 'view co-efficient' which are described in the section: Radiant Property Parameters.

There are two parameters which instruct the program to impose external air temperature compensation on the cooling plant control.

Warning - Compensation does NOT apply in slave zones under the control of a master zone.

Outside Temperature -Max

The outside air temperature at and above which maximum cooling is available.

Outside Temperature - Off

The outside air temperature at which the cooling is switched off. When the outside air temperature moves between these two limits the plant capacity will be proportionally varied.

There is also a check box marked 'Capacity Compensation'. If this box is checked then a gains table for cooling factor will appear. 'Cooling Factor' is the capacity of available cooling as a proportion of the 'Zone Maximum Load'. For more information about how to edit these parameters, please read the section: Gains Table.
