This mode is intended for a heating or cooling system where the capacity is controlled from a single zone's dry bulb temperature. This mode requires the following parameters.
Parameter |
Description |
Zone |
The zone number whose dry bulb temperature will control the heating or cooling capacity. If you enter 0 for this value, the capacity will be controlled on the temperature of the zone that this internal condition is applied to. |
Off |
For heating emitters, The heating will be off if the controlling zone dry bulb temperature is above this value. For cooling emitters, the cooling will be off if the controlling zone dry bulb temperature is below this value. |
Max |
For heating emitters, the heating capacity will be at its maximum if the controlling zone dry bulb temperature is below this value. For cooling emitters, the cooling capacity will be at its maximum if the controlling zone dry bulb temperature is above this value. |
For example, 'Zdryb,5,21,19' would define the following strategy for heating. As the dry bulb temperature in zone 5 went below 21 deg. C then heating would be available, if needed. The heating capacity would be at its maximum value when the temperature was at or below 19 deg. C.
'Zdryb,5,23,25' would define the following strategy for cooling. As the dry bulb temperature in zone 5 went above 23 deg. C then cooling would be available, if needed. The cooling capacity would be at its maximum value when the temperature was at or above 25 deg. C.
