The Materials details window stores data on the thermophysical properties of building materials.
You can edit the values here and it will only affect the construction the material is listed under. You can also delete the material from the construction by left clicking on the materials icon in the tree view. All copies of the material used in that construction will be deleted.
You can copy a material by placing the pointer over the materials icon, holding down the left mouse key and then dragging to the appropriate construction icon and then releasing the mouse button.
The first parameter of all materials is Material Type. It is a drop down list with four options. Selecting a different option will change the type of material and the parameters the user will have to enter. This is described in further detail in the following sections:
