On the Workspace menu, click on "Windows Sidebar" to add or remove it from the workspace. The windows dialog will list all windows and window groups that you have created. A window group is shown on the sidebar by two vertically tiled blocks of colour; a window is displayed as a single colour block. You will be able to double-click on the sidebar to open the Windows dialog. Click on the Shades tab to switch to the Shades sidebar.
Highlight a window on the sidebar by left-clicking on the window name and then use the "Create Window" tool to place the window on 2D floor plans. Or you can use the "Set Window Type" tool to update an existing window type. The "Set" tools can be used in 2D and 3D views.
On the Windows sidebar, click on the down arrow to open a context menu and select "Auto Hide" or "Hide".
