Display Windows

These settings are similar to those given on the Display Settings dialog for walls, floors, and ceilings/roofs but relate only to window types, i.e. not construction types, which are listed on the Building Elements table because in Tas they are referred to as building elements.

The settings are specific to a particular view. They are turned on by default.

On the View menu, point to Display Windows and select from these settings:

Wall

Turn off this setting to display the geometry without any of the wall windows. The windows are not actually deleted from the file and are displayed by re-enabling the setting. If you turn off wall windows for one 2D view, other 2D views will still show them. This is true also for 3D views, except that they are always displayed in 3D analysis mode.

Roof

Turn off this setting to display the geometry without any of the roof windows. Again, they're not deleted from the file. Turn on the setting to re-display the windows. Turning on or off roof windows for one 2D view has no affect on other views, which is true also for 3D views.

Floor

Turn off this setting to display the geometry without any of the floor windows. As with the Wall and Roof options, these windows are not deleted from the file either. Turn on the setting to re-display the floor windows. Consistent with the other two options, turning on or off floor windows for one 2D view has no affect on other views, which is true also for 3D views.
